Dr. Farzin Mirzaeeyan - Dental Surgeon
Dr. Farzin is an internationally trained Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, licensed as a General Dentist in Ontario. He obtained his Master Of Dental Surgery in the specialty of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery in SDM University - which has a great reputation for its quality education and healthcare facilities.
Dr. Farzin is passionate about surgery and for more than 15 years he has led a Dental Department at a Red Crescent Society Hospital in UAE. He has worked for many years in private setting hospitals performing surgeries in dental chairs & operation theatres.
In 2016 Dr. Farzin decided to immigrate to Canada and has successfully passed all the licensing exams. He further advanced his Canadian certifications by attending Sinus Lift Surgery & Advanced Implantology Courses at University of Toronto. With keeping patient's comfort in mind he has also obtained a license in IV Moderate Sedation from UofT.
As one of his latest achievements Dr. Farzin has obtained a Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasg.)
In his spare time he likes teaching, so he works as a Senior Instructor at Confidentist, helping foreign trained dentists, like himself, to build a successful life in Canada.
Dr. Farzin is married, has 2 very active boys and an equally active Goldendoodle named Bear.
Dr. Nazanin Khajeh Nasiri - Associate Dentist
Dr. Nazanin studied dentistry & got her Masters Degree in Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry in Iran. She moved to Canada in 2011 & attended University of Toronto, graduating in 2016 as a General Dentist.
Dr. Nazanin's education and experience allows her to be very efficient producing a very refined and high quality of work. Aside from regular restorative work, she does veneers & dental lamination.
Dr. Nazanin is a certified Invisalign provider. Since graduating from UofT, Dr. Nazanin has been working across different locations throughout GTA and gained a lot of experience in dealing with patients from different backgrounds. She cares tremendously about her patients' comfort and uses Nitrous Oxide Sedation for kids and adults if necessary. Dr. Nazanin is an animal lover.
She enjoys hiking with her Golden Retriever & also has an 11 years old cat. She enjoys reading and working out in her spare time.
Dr. Yazdan Sabet
Dr. Yazdan Sabet received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He successfully managed a private practice for six years while pursuing a specialty program in Endodontics.
Upon graduating from the specialty program in Endodontics, he served as an assistant professor at two renowned dental faculties, where he taught graduate students for three years before moving to Canada in 2020.
He received his Canadian General Dentistry license through the NDEB Equivalency Process in 2024. He is a Canadian board-certified dentist and holds a Registered General License with the RCDSO.
Dr. Sabet’s interests include preventative and restorative dentistry, with a special focus on root canal treatment. He continuously enhances his expertise through various courses, seminars, and conventions. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists.
Since 2022, he has been a part-time clinical instructor at the undergraduate clinics at the University of Toronto.
Beyond dentistry, his interests include music, swimming, and travel.
Dr. Akile Ozkan - Associate Dentist
Dr. Akile Ozkan graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and from the University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. She cherishes the time she spends with her family and friends. On her free time, she loves hiking and exploring new trails. Akile is self proclaimed "foodie" since she loves trying new foods and different restaurants.
Akile has a few items on her bucket list. Specifically, she hopes to travel to every continent and would love to take a cooking class in Italy!
Iman Issa - Registered Dental Hygienist
Iman is a dedicated and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist, committed to delivering exceptional care and promoting lifelong oral health. With a deep understanding of both patient care and education, she focuses on empowering patients to adopt healthy oral habits through education and motivation. What sets Iman apart is her genuine compassion for her patients and her meticulous attention to detail in every treatment. She strives to ensure that each patient feels comfortable, informed, and at ease during their visit, creating a positive and enlightening experience. Iman is passionate about continuous learning and professional growth. She regularly attends courses to enhance her skills and stays current with the latest advancements in dental care.
She is now looking to pursue a career in orthodontic hygiene, with plans to attend specialized courses in the near future.
Outside of work, Iman enjoys reading, and going out with her family. As a true nature and animal lover, she enjoys spending time with her cat.
Iman is a member of the CDHO & ODHA. Iman speaks English & Arabic.
Laiba Zuha - Registered Dental Hygienist
Laiba is a Registered Dental Hygienist, dedicated to helping her patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. With a compassionate understanding of both human nature and education, she empowers her patients through guidance in creating realistic, achievable and personalized goals for maintaining healthy oral habits. Her passion lies in supporting patients on their journey toward improved oral health, ensuring they feel understood, encouraged and well cared for.
Commited to lifelong learniing, Laiba is dilligent about advancing her knowledge and skills. She is currently looking to advance her education and specialize further in restorative hygiene, where she can combine her expertise and enthusiasm for patient care in a specialized area of practice.
Outside of work, Laiba enjoys arts, the outdors, spending time with her family and playing with her puppy.
She is in active member of both the Ontario Dental Hygienists' Association (ODHA) and Canadadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA)
Merna Hedo - Registered Nurse
Merna is our dedicated Registered Nurse who has been assisting Dr. Farzin with IV sedations for the past two years. She earned her Honours Bachelor of Nursing from the University of New Brunswick in 2021 and has three years of experience in a fast-paced emergency department of a hospital in downtown Toronto. Merna also holds an ACLS license and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Nursing at the University of Toronto, along with her Nurse Practitioner license, to further her career as a nurse practitioner. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and discovering new countries.

Surgical Dental Assistant
Kadriye originally from Turkey holds a Diploma in Oral & Dental Clinical Assistant Progam. She has 5+ years of surgical dental assisting experience in private & hospital settings assiting Oral Surgeons with complex oral procedures such as single implant placements, All-on-X implant placement, complex extractions with IV sedation and other smile design procedures.
At Expo City Dental, Kadriye assists exclusively Dr. Farzin for his surgical procedures.
In her spare time she likes to socialize with her friends and family and taking road trips with her husband.

Daniela is an integral member of our administrative team and is often the first welcoming face patients see when they step into our office. With a friendly smile, she takes pride in interacting with patients and ensuring that all their needs are addressed before they are seated for their appointment.
Daniela's journey in dentistry began in 2017, where she trained as a dental assistant and further pursued a career in dental hygiene. She became a dental hygienist in 2019.
Daniela aspires to become a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ontario and is committed to furthering her studies in dentistry.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening and spending quality time with her family.
